How to transfer a .SAV from VBA to a real GBA console?

I have procured a GBA SP (for the old times) and wish to continue playing Pokemon Emerald from where I left off on the VBA emulator. The problem is, I can't figure out how to make a .SAV compatable with the GBA - VBA only churns out 64kb ones, not the necessary 128kb ones.
